haven't blogged in ages.
so i guess it's time to just update a bit.
since i have a bit of time to slack now.
after a really crazy week.

well.
life's pretty normal.
just that got some additional exciting stuff.
but more or less i'm still who i am.
haha.
i wanna meet up with people.
but i guess everyone's busy with the impending exams.
i can feel the heat of it all too.
hehe.

i had a really crazy week.
but i thank God.
supposed to have 3 presentations and 1 quiz.
but one of my presentations managed to be shifted to next week.
so i've got time to work on it.
and a slightly lesser workload for this week.
the presentation today went smoothly.
i'm glad and very thankful.
the quiz. kind of tough.
but well. i really can't tell how i fare.
i was kind of tired.


still. in the smallest ways. i try to destress.
well. at least this shows that my brain is not totally dead from all the mugging.
i can still have some 'creativity'.
i wouldnt say my art is fantastic.
but at least seeing that makes me happier.

one of the recent saturdays.
mum had off. so some of her friends and relatives came over.
haha.
cute little sean came too.
he's grown a little taller. and definitely cuter!
haha.
gosh i sound like a pedophile. eeks.
but he seriously is cute, isn't he?
haha.
but he's highly hyperactive.
i couldnt really get him to take a proper photo.
so while he looks cute in this. i look super odd.
haha.


on tuesday this week. the cell group went city hall for a time of bonding.
a simple dinner.
and after that nic gave us an assignment.
to build the highest possible pyramid with the limited postcards he had.
out in the open with wind. bleh.
haha. had some failed attempts.
but we end up managing to get something decent out.
and took loads of whacky shots with it.
hehe.

exams coming real soon.
there just seems like there's so much to do.
i need better time management skills.
and i need to focus.
bleh.

been drinking about 4 to 5 cups of tea/coffee for the past 2 days.
with a minimum of 2 cups a day.
oh man.

here's what my room looks like at the moment.
havent really fully unpack in a sense.
which means i've got more than what is being seen here.
just that they are at a corner hidden from the camera.

first time moving house in my life.
haha.
moved hall before.
but today was the first.
and i'm tired.

but at least looking at the room now gives a bit of satisfaction.
hehe.
shall be posting pictures soon when i'm less tired.
and when i've organised things better.

at her bday celebration.
didnt know that many ppl.
but just sat down and talk.

i probably know them better compared to the other ppl present!

got treated to home-made mooncakes on sunday during lts!

went on a walk down memory lane today.

had to settle some due bills.
so went ghim moh area.
the area hasn't changed much since i last went.
but it has changed quite a fair bit since i graduated from jc.

there's the all-time favourite jiu jiang.
bought waffle to eat while i was there.
and then walked home.
haha. was reminded how 'hardworking' i was then.
walking to and fro school just to save some money on transport.
hehe.


but i guess i'm more 'hardworking' today.

to walk back home was quite a hot experience.

closing in to mid-semester

one more week of school before a break.

having been updating for quite some time.

wont be a really long entry i suppose.
since i dont think i can really recall every single thing that has happened.

got this on sunday. and it really made me smile.

celebrated mum's birthday too.
ate so much until i was so so so bloated.
haha. had so much ice cream.
saw this really cute winnie the pooh ice cream mooncake.
rather ex though. hehe.
but it was a great dinner.

had a crazy thursday last week churning out the group report.
many thanks to linda and chiewlin who ignored the growls of their hungry stomachs.

it was a splendid simple dinner at ah fang.

i miss the days in hall.
eating at ah fang seem such a rare thing now.


went to do some cleaning up over at the new place recently.
my room has got all the furniture in.
so it's just left with really clearing up my stuff over here.
and waiting for the move.
thanks to sis for all the effort in settling all the issues required.
thanks to mum who generously forked out the money to get the stuff that we wanted.
it was more of a want than a need, in a way.
there's just that kind of mixed feeling associated with moving.
the excitement of moving for the first time in my life.
yet the anxiety of having to pack properly despite being in the midst of heavy school workload.


just on sunday.
got to eat goodwood park's durian snowskin mooncake.
woolala.
it's real good stuff.
the smell can simply make one drool.
but then again. eating the whole of it at one go can be something really damaging to the body.
how heaty.
hehe.
ate half and gave the other half away.
well i'm satisfied with a simple treat.
sometimes i just have to reward myself.
once in a while.
hehe.

nothing much that i can really recall.
so i shall just abruptly end this off.
doubt i'm really thinking much now.
i'm rather worn out.
havent been getting much rest.
definitely less than 5 hours each day. it's just how much lesser.
bleh. even now i feel a bit sick.

so much that i dont seem to know how to handle.
yet i know God is faithful.
the only thing i know i ought to hold on tight to.
is just Him and Him alone.
some things are tough.
but nothing's impossible for my God.
the only thing to do is trust.
i'm learning. to be thankful always.
