the last day of this really long weekend break.
i am losing track of time.
mixing up. this week and next week.
back to school tmr.

kind of like the last day of visiting today.
went jj's house today.
a bit the extra.
but her place is nice.
haha.
hope that if i move house, my new home will be pretty too.
haha. i want a neat neat place.
hehe.

after that went library.

but yea. finished up my tutorials for this week.
sigh. so many make-up classes.

the day started off quite well.
some people came visiting.

but it was a tough time entertaining her.

after that went to my godma's place.
there was loads of food.
quite fun at first.
until the appearance of my cousin's pet dog.
which totally scared me out of my wits.
and yes. i started screaming.

and after that comments sent me getting pissed.
so yea.
it didnt end quite well.

went to grandma's house for reunion dinner.
it was really lively over there.

joel came crashing ntu today.

came over to my elective class.

a little disappointing though.

after that boarded the bus and headed for geylang.
an eye-opener.
as the seniors took us down a walk along the streets.
seeing quite a handful of baits on the streets waiting to hook up some hungry fish.

after that went to eat dou jiang you tiao.

the you tiao there was very nice.
hehe.
then walked around since there was ample time.
then in the end some of them wanted to try the frog porridge.
so we went as a grp.
i sat there but was on high alert.
as the cats nearby were all highly skilful.
scary.

after that got back to hall.
quite a shag day.
it had been a long day.
tmr still got morning class.
sigh.
gonna have to wait for laundry to be done.
and then catch some sleep.

woke up rather early for my saturday.
went with sis to the hair salon to get my hair trimmed.

to welcome the new year!
and so i spent 45 bucks thinning my hair.
trimming it slightly.
and gave my hair some treatment.
so that it's nice and smooth.

it's supposed to make it smooth and give it shine.

if so i guess i got myself a fairly good deal.

at first i thought friday the 13th wouldnt be bad day afterall.
cos this person who i smsed to ask to buy 2nd hand textbook gave a positive reply.

in the end the meeting time wasnt in my favour as i had to go for tuition.
and edwin was so nice to volunteer to go in my place.
sadly, the book wasnt the right edition.

after that went tutoring today.

i missed so much of tuition that even i dont know how to explain t0 my student's mum.
luckily, she's a really nice person.
gonna have to work hard and make sure my student performs.

after tuition went to ps to meet sis.
end up she was so busy with work at her intern place.

today was school day.
yet it was hall moving day.
hehe.

a kind of last minute decision.
but yea.
in the morning the 3 of us went to the office to submit the form.
and the hostel officer was saying that processing cant be completed so soon.

almost thought couldnt move already.
in the end.
halfway during lecture linda told me that the keys could be collected!

can finally move.

so after class at 6.30 pm was mad rush to pack up.
thanks to edwin who helped to pack up stuff.
when i just asked during lecture for help.

after that brought some stuff over to the new hall.
chiew lin's dad then helped to drive us and more of our stuff here later.
thanks to him too.
or else i couldnt imagine how to get the things over.

after that spent close to 4 hrs cleaning up.
arranging everything.
and yes. now we've got a nice cosy new hostel room.

today was a really busy day.
morning had interhall games.
so i was stuck in hall all the way till 1 plus pm.
end up having to cab back home in time for tuition.

after that tutored.
and rushed off to pasir ris to meet linda.
vm having chalet at aloha loyang.
couldnt stay over although i would love to.
cos tmr still have to go back to hall early in the morning.

bbq was fun.
hehe.
although i smelt of grease after the whole thing.
hehe.
but it was fun.
with the huge fire.
that basically left us with 2 out of about 20 chicken wings edible.
the rest were.

hehe.
of course the lovely pork chop.
contribution of a family at the bbq pit nearby.

and there were loads of good food.
prawns with cheese.

finally
got down to seeing the doctor.
after much delay.
i cant even remember when i started having this problem.

thanks to mum's constant nagging about seeing a doctor about it.
now i have to take antibiotics for the next 5-6 days.
hehe.

no worries.
no big problem.
it's just the unsightly scars on my legs.
hehe.
and some area around the bit is infected.
kind of red.
hehe.
so that's why i have to be on medication.

gonna have to apply some cream or sthg too.
on the area that's affected.

hopefully the scars go away asap.

the group of us had lunch at the food court.

went ntuc to get some snacks before heading for the zoo.

then after that only five of us went zoo.

so we got ourselves 2 mix and match.

bought tickets into the zoo.
15 bucks per person.

neither can we pay the student rate.

then went walking around and took loads of photos.
we were like laughing at everything we saw.
which made it really funny.

the outing was fun la.
although the weather wasnt really good before that.
for the 3 hrs we were there. the weather was good.
until we were about to leave.

so i guess we were lucky still.

have to thank teeseng for co-ordinating everything.
even though i was the one who suggested going to the zoo.
thanks to those that came too.
so spontaneous.
zoo sounded like a rather off idea.
but i'm glad we all enjoyed ourselves.

2005 was...

the year i got my first and last ever longest break.
all the way till july.
no school.
only work.
tutoring. work. tutoring work.
7 days a week.
took a toll on me for some time.

the year i didnt have my sister by my side for the longest.
she was on exchange at atlanta all the way till may 9th.

the year this blog got started.
and after that i've come up with so many blog designs.
hehehe.
i like this new one too.

the year i got my hair coloured for the first time.
and till now.
i've done it twice.
haha. gonna have to condition my hair properly!

the year i started staying in hall.
with roomie linda.
learnt to do my own laundry.
yes the first time we used the washing machine in hall was a funny experience.
we are going to be roomie for one more semester.
i guess that's all.
most prob will move back home.

the year full of ups and downs.
i've experienced a lot.
one that brought me great joy, yet caused the greatest sadness.
things that made me so stressed out.
decisions that i've made terribly wrong.
which i deeply regret.

the year i become a freshman.
back to school now.
still trying hard to achieve what i hope to achieve.
straight 'a's sounds like a far off goal.
nonetheless an aim.

the year with the most horrid december holidays.
i spent so much time in hall.
got myself so tanned.

the year i had one of most fulfilling december still.

but the three days of kid's world.
i guess it's a worthwhile experience.

the year in which i went genting for the 3rd time.
yet the 1st time i didnt get to go play at the outdoor theme park.
but it was a good time spent with mum, sis and ying.
although a slight asthma attack created a big chaos on the second night.
