of a wasted friday.
dont think i spent my time well today.

got back home from hall.
and was damn tired.
i dozed off on the bus.
dozed off on the train.
and even slept when i got home.

after that tutored.
then started watching anime.
i think i spent so long so long watching anime.
started from 7 and ended at close to 12.
haha. damn crazy.

time to get to studying.

well the only thing i did i guess.
was to make my own dinner.

got myself a no-class day tmr.
both the classes that i'll be having are cancelled.
one cos my tutor got injured and now has her leg in cast.
one dont know why.
and so it's gonna be a free day.

spent the whole of last night trying to get my project and tutorial done.
which almost drove me crazy.
it just drove me to the wall.
was whining so much.

i always complain.
ah. bad habit to kick.

finally done with my part of the project i guess.
minus the compilation.
supposed to get it done tonight to submit for tmr's class.
but since there isnt any class.
the deadline is extended by yet another week.
this is the first time i ever have my projects due really at the last week of school.

and of course my tutorial.
at least the compulsary one is done.
more tutorials to clear.

yes i am complaining again.

right now running low of ideas for blogskin design.
so i guess i shall keep it this way for now.

tonight the lift in hall is down.
so i got a bit of 'work-out' climbing stairs.

i think i've climbed 7 storeys up and down at least thrice for now.

shall blog about yesterday's stuff.
since i was too lazy to last night.
and after a full 8-hr long sleep.

guys like to chase after girls using the "net-casting method"

what is the "net-casting method"?
putting it in simpler terms.
it is one way of chasing after girls, in which the guy will target more than one girl and chase them simultaneously.
rather similar to that of a fisherman casting his net to get his catch.
whichever fish does not manage to escape would be caught. of course.
one of a schoolmate when asked if he can apply the "net-casting method" to obtain his "good catch" replied "why not?"
interesting.
so guys prefer it that way?
no wonder sometimes people comment that whoever managed to get a good catch.

what is wrong then with the less convenient method?
casting a fishing line and then having a bait just for one fish to be caught. that is.
probability of getting a catch is lower. well. that's a way of putting it in mathematical terms. very logical.
time taken is longer. in economics sense. it's not cost-efficient.

so is there anything wrong with the "net-casting method" then?
can be a possible turn-off should one of your targets end up knowing what you are doing?
maybe.

i'm eating darn a lot.

yesterday went supper with yonghong and weiqiang.
supposed to wait for linda to end her meeting.
but end up the two guys were so hungry that they couldnt wait.
so in the end we left for supper without linda. :(
so i was stuck with the two of them.

they are perfectly normal people.

i got help for my project.

but the portion of the meat was like so little compared to the rice.

but this week. the two of them had breakfast at macs.
linda came back from class and wanted to play.

achievement

managed to catch up on my sleep today.
slept at 2.30 am or so last night.
and only woke up slightly after 1 pm today.

finally. got back the rest i missed out the last week.

i set my alarm such that i've got 8 full hours of sleep.

but end up still oversleeping.
i can be rather hopeless.

after that tutored.
been some time since i got to see my student.
with all the cancellation of classes because of this and that.
and it was quite funny.
as she performed some stunt.
same case for me.
she wasnt quite convinced when i said i didnt wear my contacts.
and i didnt have my spectacles with me.
she did this swinging of chair stunt.
quite an interesting session.
hopefully she learnt something other than stunts.

went out studying and finally got my tutorials done!
at least i got those that i brought back done.

which was quite some achievement.

i cant imagine having to see my boss again.

there's nowhere like home

back at home already for this week!
got back kind of early today.
slightly before 1 pm.
which is much much earlier than usual.

and coming back early came at a price.
i actually forgot my spectacles.
and my contact lens case.
and i was wearing my contact lens today.
so end up.
had to search for an empty case at home.
and now i am like blind.
haha.
have to strain my eyes to look.

dozed off in front of my laptop till 2 pm.
then decided that i should take a nap.
set the alarm to go off in 2 hrs' time.
but end up sleeping all the way till 6 pm.
almost didnt want to wake up when mum tried to wake me up.
haha.
lazy bum.

and the next thing i woke up was.
getting scolded.
sigh.
i screw things up again.
to the extent that my boss had to call and give me a scolding.
sigh.
i also blur blur.
dont know what to do.
but yea i was told by him yesterday that i have to get the photos ready.
so that he can bring it down to develop over the weekends.
and i thought that i just need to compile those forms that i have and then pass to him a list.
cos i dont have the soft copies of the photos.
since they were in the external hdd and he deleted them that time.
whatever it is my external hdd was still with him.
he should know that i cant possibly come up with what he wanted since i dont have any soft copy with me and he took my hdd.
whatever it is.
he ranted.
and there was nothing i could do.
cos the hdd was still with him.
and i was back at home already.
not my fault that he failed to pass it back to me.
i already told him i dont have the soft copies with me when he told me to get things done the night before.
but well. i wasnt in the mood to argue with him.
i'll be in the wrong whatever it is.
so i told him i'll get the hdd from him with the soft copies of the photos.
and i'll handle everything myself.
and even make a trip to the photo developing shop on monday.
since the option of this weekend is already gone.
one thing i seriously dont like about him is that he insist that i should check with him whenever i dont know things.
the thing is how is it possible for me to ask sthg i dont even know of.
who knows what he's thinking.
he didnt mention.
and i just made assumptions.
which he himself do too.
he assumed that i could produce sthg out of nothing again.
how interesting.
he knew i didnt have the soft copies.
then why didnt he ask me earlier.
always my fault only.
and i hate this.
sometimes i really know it's my fault.
and this time i really did screw up.
but i dont agree with his comments all the time.
not fair to make accusations of me.

despite the fact that i've a lot to do at hand already.
projects are already a headache.

we ordered mc delivery into hall.
simply cos eric havent had dinner.
linda and chiewlin and i had this sudden craving.
end up they cheated us of one apple pie.
haha.
accident i guess.
left that apple pie out.
and caused quite a commotion when we called back and kept being put on hold.
thankfully they got our apple pie delivered some time later.
so we munched on french fries and sundae.
one lesson i learnt is never to order hot fudge sundae through delivery again.
it seriously tastes weird.
buying it and having it on the spot is a greater pleasure.

wednesday night.
linda suddenly felt like walking.
haha.
so we walked to the canteen.
and got each of us an apple pie back.
and enjoyed a "picnic under the stars".

how sweet.
although there seriously wasnt any stars in sight.

thursday morning.
bought myself mc breakfast before class.

so i am eating my way to the fast food nation.

after tonight i finally could take a breather.

since the mad rush on friday to get the video done.
i've been constantly stressed over the whole thing.
last night spent the whole night in my boss' room just to get the video done.
end up not getting any sleep.
so i was in a daze this morning.

stopped work at 7 am this morning.
and made breakfast for linda and chiewlin.
pancakes!
hehe.
it's been some time since i last made pancakes.
and in my blur state, i forgot to take certain things at first.
so had to run up to the room to get and then get into the pantry again to cook.
haha.
and i was in a frenzy to get things done.
so that they can have sufficient time to eat before class.
still. in my mad rush, i forgot to take pictures.

haha.

then during project discussion i was quite dazed.
couldnt really argue my point out.
had to be stupidly laughed at for my incoherent comments.
haha.
kind of dumb.
but it was good that they were considerate enough to make an effort to end the discussion early and had changed the venue of the discussion to be held at my room.
so i got to take a half-hr nap on the table.
before working on subject registration for inter-sem.
and then going out for lunch then class.

during the lecture i was like very stoned.
haha.
keep dozing off at some parts.
luckily not for everything.
managed to get quite awake for some time after dozing off quite seriously.

skipped one lecture to get back to hall to get rest.
since the lecture most probably would not be of much help either.
so i managed to get 1.5 hrs of sleep.
before getting back to work again in my boss' room.
for one whole day.
my laptop wasnt in my room.
so sad.
it didnt feel right.
haha.

so now it's back.
hehe.
good good.

and the video was shown at the hall event tonight.

fabulous weekend

i would consider this weekend enriching.
of course there was work to do.
but i guess it was well spent.
at least mostly was.

friday night was spent rushing through the video.
and i am so thankful.
thankful that the 2 people assigned to me were willing to rush with me.
i returned to hall only at 8 pm.
so held the discussion meeting only at 8.30 pm.
9 was the time for all of us to start work.
and we rushed to meet the 12 midnight deadline.
apparently we failed.
and i worked all the way till 7 am.
only to receive another clip from my boss.
which i was told that must include in the video too.
i almost collapsed.
gave up and went to sleep.
had to wake up at 8 am cos of the wsc event.

it was suprising how energetic i could be.
i think it's the high after the lack of sleep.
and the outing was quite fun.
and it definitely kept me away from thinking about the video.
and i was really glad that i had someone to rant to about how i finished all the way till 7 am only to have more work to be done.
haha.
and of course the seniors who laughed and joked all the way to the various places we went.


the first destination we brought the old folks to visit was the jurong frog farm.
and there were saw loads and loads of bullfrogs.
from the tadpoles to the tadpoles with legs to the bullfrogs.
they reminded me of naruto's attempts to summon the frog boss though.

and linda only seem to take note mostly of the bullfrogs mating. haha.

so for breakfast we went clementi.
and ate dim sum at the hawker.
the place was crowded but the breakfast was good.

and manged to cut all the way to 6 mins.

brought the video down for him to take a look.
and i was so happy when his comments was "fantastic" at some parts.

thank goodness that i need not redo.

and then helped in selection of songs.

sometimes.
i guess it's hard not to feel alone.
when at times when i've got so much things loading my mind.
and yet there's just me alone.
not that there really arent people around.
it's just.
i guess it's different.
it's not that easy for those around to understand.

how helpless i can get.

i guess i'm weak.
yet i love pretending to be strong.

i guess it doesnt get me far.

i havent been performing super duperly well.
i would hope to be some straight-a student.
yet i am not.
and i guess it's hard to be.

cos the time clash.
yet it is seen as a shrinking of responsibility.
i keep saying "heck".
yet i cant shake it off.

deadline pushed from wednesday. to today. and then to tmr.
i guess that's the furthest it can go.
yet i am so drained.

cos those assigned to help me arent being cooperative.
and i dont have the time.
today lesson ended late.
after that i had to get the materials.
meeting after dinner.
and i've yet got time to figure out the program that would aid me in my task.
i wonder how i can meet tmr's deadline.

i guess i deserved it.
i havent been contributing much afterall.

wednesday. took the train down already.
only to be told that it will have to be cancelled cos the student forgot her keys.
end up getting off at town.
dropped by to say hi to mum.
walking alone in town.
wishing that i had at least had a reading material for company.
a lost wandering soul.
wasted my time.
tmr gonna have to tutor.
and get back to hall to meet the deadline.
i dont think i'll have enough time.
but well. just have to try and see what can be done.
saturday's tuition will have to be cancelled.
i keep cancelling.
even i feel bad.
when 3 things clash.
i want to die.

so many things bottled up.
sometimes i want to rant.
i want to speak up.

nothing comes out.

i went for the blood donation drive today.
hehehe.
donated blood.
my 3rd time.

but today the whole thing doesnt seem to like me.

first was the nurse having the "rush-for-time" attitude.
hmm.
i wonder if it's her fault or mine.
i wasnt supposed to feel any pain for the second needle since the first was anaesthetic.
but somehow. i felt that it was painful.
could seemingly feel where the needle was going under my skin lor.
freak.
haha.

then after that was time to apply pressure on the needle wound after the whole process.
and somehow the wound doesnt seem to obey.
no matter how much pressure i apply.
also like take years to stop bleeding.
haha.
but yea it's not that bad.
the bleeding.
no worries.

then was the bandage tape.
it came off less than 5 mins after i stepped out of the blood donation place.
wah. super ma fan.
haha.

so after class i went back hall.
and tried to remove the bandage.
since it's such a mere obstruction.
then the extra piece of tape that the nurse put was so sticky.
that it stuck to my skin.
took me pains to get it out.
and my whole waterproof plaster became useless cos the stickyness made me tear the sides of the plaster too.

then at dinner.
the plaster itself could no longer hold too!
haha.
how lame.

the whole process was well.
i did a good deed.
but the trouble and all.
this time sure got bruise.
haha.

another monday

the start of another week.
this week is more slack i hope.
sigh.
hopefully it's a good time to catch up with work too.
still have major projects to handle.
and then exams are nearing.
how scary.

kind of fruitful for a monday.
had classes in the morning.
but i finally manage to keep the sleepy virus out.
didnt oversleep.
in fact i woke up early.

end up being able to watch naruto ep174.
hehe.
fillers can be rather crappy.

oh well.
looking forward to bleach this week.
hehe. better be good after depriving me of last week's ep.

lunch was pasta at cant 11.
which was amazing.
the first time i knew there's pasta in school.
other than the not-so-really-varied ones at the quad.

lovely.
and it's rather tasty.
although a little salty.
haha.
still great too.
glad the people were nice enough to accomodate my craving for pasta.
and went all the way to the hall with the canteen furthest from the academic area.
hehe. thankfully, there's shuttle bus.

after that dropped by at my own room since there was time before lecture.
end up dozing off on the table.
woke up with a red patch at my left forehead.
haha. the pressure.
and yes. the sleepy virus managed to get its way.
luckily my sudden instinct woke me up in time to get ready for lecture.
