random post.

got myself a no-class day tmr.
both the classes that i'll be having are cancelled.
one cos my tutor got injured and now has her leg in cast.
one dont know why.
and so it's gonna be a free day.

spent the whole of last night trying to get my project and tutorial done.
which almost drove me crazy.
it just drove me to the wall.
was whining so much.
then again.
what's new?
i always complain.
ah. bad habit to kick.

finally done with my part of the project i guess.
minus the compilation.
supposed to get it done tonight to submit for tmr's class.
but since there isnt any class.
the deadline is extended by yet another week.
this is the first time i ever have my projects due really at the last week of school.

and of course my tutorial.
at least the compulsary one is done.
more tutorials to clear.
those for next week that is.
sickening.
yes i am complaining again.

right now running low of ideas for blogskin design.
so i guess i shall keep it this way for now.
shall start thinking for more ideas when i feel like it i guess.

tonight the lift in hall is down.
so i got a bit of 'work-out' climbing stairs.
if that counts.
i think i've climbed 7 storeys up and down at least thrice for now.
bad construction.
linda was describing how she got stunned by a waterfall sight when the doors of the lift opened this afternoon.
crap.

suddenly.
i got quite a handful of things i feel like doing.
i feel like cooking.
making sthg nice. chocolatey for myself.
i feel like singing.
seems like quite some time since i really sing.
i feel like rotting my day away.
lazy me is getting back into action.
why is it always like that near exams?
i feel like watching tv.
home. i want watch scv.
i want watch some drama.
crappy or not. that's not the issue.

ah whatever. i think my mind's screwed.
so many weird things popping into my mind.
thinking of damn a lot of things.
things i want to do and all.
in a whole state of confusion.

pasta-mania

shall blog about yesterday's stuff.
since i was too lazy to last night.
and after a full 8-hr long sleep.
i'm now wide awake enough to write sthg.
haha.

the quiz was.
good.
haha.
i'm so happy i did well.
all the studying didn't go to waste.

and had lunch with ps.
haha.
after postponing it for 2 weeks.
we finally got our chance to hit cant 11 pasta shop.
hehe.
we ate a lot.

had fun catching up with her.
we talked so much nonsense.

and i watched this bleach ova.
quite funny.
but yea. it was sthg to make up for the fact that there wasnt an ep last week.
apparently i didnt know the existence of this ova.
cos this was the second one.
hmmm. i wonder what the first is about.
but cool cos hitsugaya made a grand entrance.
which sent me screaming.
and a lot of funny scenes.

a new beginning

shall update a little before i hit the bed.
i think it's high time i really set my bed time earlier.

tomorrow gonna have econs quiz.
and i am super duper freaked out.
i seriously hope i do well.
although i feel as if i am not as prepared as i was for the previous quiz.
argh.
stupid me.
think i've been too slack during the weekend.
dozed off whenever i hit the books.
went back home on friday and then tutored. then watched anime. then slept.
after that woke up to study a bit.
then slept again.
woke up on saturday morning wanting to study.
end up watching tv.
then rot around.
tutored. then tried to get to studying.
but was damn slow.
this afternoon went to library to study.
but dozed off initially too.
argh.
came back hall study.
dozed off again.
sthg is very wrong.
but well.
i hope i do well tmr.

wednesday was queuing day.
wanted to queue for angela chang's ntu concert tix but didnt manage to get it.
then went to queue for exam goodie bag.
and this was a pic i took of the queue in front of me while i was waiting.
can guess how freaking bored i was.
that was why i asked my friend about the net-casting method too.


took this on thurs night i think. cant really remember.
but it was a picture of the night sky with sparks.
most probably due to life firing around the area.
how interesting.
like fireworks display.
just not as magnificent.
hehe.
there was more sparks.
but the moment i ran into the room to take my phone and came back.
there was nothing much left.


saw this notebook that ying has on friday.

and nvr underestimate how bored someone can get while studying for a quiz.
sis shared with me her m&m's and that's what i did to a portion of my share of the m&m's.
i formed my initials. not enough m&m's for my whole name.
maybe i should try when i open my packet of m&m's too.

and on saturday night.
i got down to making myself cheesy nachos.
and i've got only one comment.
a little too salty.

but i still like.

yes i am eating a whole load of junk.
time to work-out.

linda they all just shared with me how unsafe it is to jog now around school.

guys like to chase after girls using the "net-casting method"

what is the "net-casting method"?
putting it in simpler terms.
it is one way of chasing after girls, in which the guy will target more than one girl and chase them simultaneously.
rather similar to that of a fisherman casting his net to get his catch.
whichever fish does not manage to escape would be caught. of course.
one of a schoolmate when asked if he can apply the "net-casting method" to obtain his "good catch" replied "why not?"
interesting.
so guys prefer it that way?
no wonder sometimes people comment that whoever managed to get a good catch.

what is wrong then with the less convenient method?
casting a fishing line and then having a bait just for one fish to be caught. that is.
probability of getting a catch is lower. well. that's a way of putting it in mathematical terms. very logical.
time taken is longer. in economics sense. it's not cost-efficient.

so is there anything wrong with the "net-casting method" then?
can be a possible turn-off should one of your targets end up knowing what you are doing?
maybe.

food fest

yes.
i'm eating darn a lot.
especially junk.

yesterday went supper with yonghong and weiqiang.
supposed to wait for linda to end her meeting.
but end up the two guys were so hungry that they couldnt wait.
so in the end we left for supper without linda. :(
so i was stuck with the two of them.
funny gays. haha. joke la.
they are perfectly normal people.
who are nice.
i got help for my project.
phew!
damn lucky.
hehe.

so i end up having this!

sweet and sour chicken rice.
not bad la.
but the portion of the meat was like so little compared to the rice.
haha.
the stall earns quite a fair bit of huge profit i think.
haha.

and today morning was pancake day again.
haha.
the second pancake breakfast day in two weeks.
haha.
last tuesday made pancakes for linda and chiewlin.
but this week. the two of them had breakfast at macs.
linda came back from class and wanted to play.

ate a lot today still.

time to really clear off my school workload.

achievement

managed to catch up on my sleep today.
slept at 2.30 am or so last night.
and only woke up slightly after 1 pm today.
haha.
finally. got back the rest i missed out the last week.
haha.
supposed to wake up at 10.30 am.
i set my alarm such that i've got 8 full hours of sleep.
haha.
but end up still oversleeping.
i can be rather hopeless.
i realised.
haha.

after that tutored.
been some time since i got to see my student.
with all the cancellation of classes because of this and that.
and it was quite funny.
as she performed some stunt.
same case for me.
she wasnt quite convinced when i said i didnt wear my contacts.
and i didnt have my spectacles with me.
she did this swinging of chair stunt.
quite an interesting session.
hopefully she learnt something other than stunts.
haha.

went out studying and finally got my tutorials done!
at least i got those that i brought back done.
hehe.
which was quite some achievement.
accomplished something.
afterall i had to.
since there'll be a meeting tomorrow.
gonna be some sickening day.
argh.
i cant imagine having to see my boss again.
blehh.

i'm glad that we talked it out.
honest. a serious talk.
but i guess it was good to give things proper consideration.
i've always like to run away from things.

but i guess it should be understood what i mean.

there's nowhere like home

back at home already for this week!
got back kind of early today.
slightly before 1 pm.
which is much much earlier than usual.

and coming back early came at a price.
i actually forgot my spectacles.
and my contact lens case.
and i was wearing my contact lens today.
so end up.
had to search for an empty case at home.
and now i am like blind.
haha.
have to strain my eyes to look.

dozed off in front of my laptop till 2 pm.
then decided that i should take a nap.
set the alarm to go off in 2 hrs' time.
but end up sleeping all the way till 6 pm.
almost didnt want to wake up when mum tried to wake me up.
haha.
lazy bum.

and the next thing i woke up was.
getting scolded.
sigh.
i screw things up again.
to the extent that my boss had to call and give me a scolding.
sigh.
i also blur blur.
dont know what to do.
but yea i was told by him yesterday that i have to get the photos ready.
so that he can bring it down to develop over the weekends.
and i thought that i just need to compile those forms that i have and then pass to him a list.
cos i dont have the soft copies of the photos.
since they were in the external hdd and he deleted them that time.
whatever it is my external hdd was still with him.
he should know that i cant possibly come up with what he wanted since i dont have any soft copy with me and he took my hdd.
whatever it is.
he ranted.
and there was nothing i could do.
cos the hdd was still with him.
and i was back at home already.
not my fault that he failed to pass it back to me.
i already told him i dont have the soft copies with me when he told me to get things done the night before.
but well. i wasnt in the mood to argue with him.
i'll be in the wrong whatever it is.
so i told him i'll get the hdd from him with the soft copies of the photos.
and i'll handle everything myself.
and even make a trip to the photo developing shop on monday.
since the option of this weekend is already gone.
one thing i seriously dont like about him is that he insist that i should check with him whenever i dont know things.
the thing is how is it possible for me to ask sthg i dont even know of.
who knows what he's thinking.
he didnt mention.
and i just made assumptions.
which he himself do too.
he assumed that i could produce sthg out of nothing again.
how interesting.
he knew i didnt have the soft copies.
then why didnt he ask me earlier.
always my fault only.
and i hate this.
sometimes i really know it's my fault.
and this time i really did screw up.
but i dont agree with his comments all the time.
not fair to make accusations of me.
argh.
whatever la.
i shall get things done.
despite the fact that i've a lot to do at hand already.
projects are already a headache.
he's one headache i should get rid of quick.
stupid.

after that end up sorting the stuff that i need to do.
hopefully speeds up the things i need to do on sunday night before going out on monday to get things done.

still nice to be back.
cos mum whipped up a lovely meal.
